Curious item, it is a cassette rewinder. Just like a VHS video cassette rewinder, except for audio cassettes. Takes 4 AA batteries and can rewind a 90 minute tape in 90 seconds flat. Not that great I suppose.

I guess it is an "unwalkman", walkgirl. I don't really see the need for one of these, most walkmans can rewind a cassette without much wear and tear. But Maxell thought there might be a market for a cassette rewinder.

I used to own one of these back in the day!
It was very useful if you were out and about and wanted to wind a tape back whilst listening to another.
Haven't seen one for quite a while though!
