Thank you all, hope you all had a nice long long read.
I see this as a great learning curve for old retro stereo's,so if anyone else has any other scans i would also like to read.
If i find anymore i will surely upload for everyone to read.

Happy, these are lovely. I printed mine off & read them twice on my commute. Superb. Were these from What HiFi or HiFi news, I recall the formmatt 'likes' 'disslikes'.

I liked the way this magazine didn't try too hard to compare but look at each unit individually.

It's interesting how we as collectors who all have our favourite units are subcontiously dissagreeing with these verdicts, "of course the Aiwa sounds the best, how can it not with those looks".

I always wonder how desirable these units looked when they were new? I mean, look at the range of MP3 players in the stores now (poor comparison, I know) nobody goes for looks, it's all about features & capacities, so for walkman's I guess one would have gone for features & size I guess? But, as collectors it's the weird and wonderful big old plastic pigs we now desire.

Superb, thanks for taking the time here.
