Hi everyone, I haven't posted anything in a while, so I thought I was due.  I've also purchased and sold a lot of walkmans since my last big post so I thought I'd share with you all what I have right now.  Like always I hope you enjoy the pics.

Up Next is the JVC collection.  Thanks for looking.

brutus442 - 2012-03-17 11:16

WOW David....what a COLLECTION

(grabs popcorn and waits for the JVC sequel)

ao - 2012-03-17 12:32

Probably the nicest Aiwa collection around.   Never seen the P3 series before, does it share the mechanism of the J02?

Also, is it me but some of your pics don't appear to be loading correctly?

david - 2012-03-17 14:17

Thanks Brutus and Agent.  I'll be putting the JVC up tomorrow.

The 3 series does share the J02 mechanism.

What's happening with the photos?

devoltoni - 2012-03-17 16:37

Thanks for sharing David, stunning collection

david - 2012-03-17 19:09

Thanks DT.  Glad you all could enjoy.

I figured I'd do a role call before I start selling some of them.  But I'm not sure which Aiwa's I'm selling yet.  I'll probably sell my extras and the last two (HS-P50 and HS-J700) first.

david - 2012-03-18 10:41

Ok...The JVC collection.  Not as big as my Aiwa Collection but it'll do.

CQ-F2E and F2K

CQ-11K

MQ-5K Microcassette Recorder

PC-M100

Wow! You have an amazing collection Dave, thanks for sharing.

david - 2012-03-18 11:15

Just a little extra today.  Thought I'd show you all where I keep my walkmans (and tapes.)  I'll probably store them one of these days so they stay preserved, sealed in bubble-wrap.

Don't worry, I don't expose them to direct sunlight all the time.  Besides, the sunlight is filtered through the trees out back.

I agree AO

Pioneer walkman's didn't really break into the NA market as well as the other big players..It's a shame really. It looks remarkable!

ao - 2012-03-20 23:21

Well, I did, a lot.  Still in shock at the blue F107.

david - 2012-03-22 19:26

Glad you enjoyed Agent.  Any idea where I could find a new internal battery for the F107.  My Blue one has leakage and the yellow one is not even there.  I guess the yellow one is more of a parts unit anyway.

ao - 2012-03-23 01:45

You got me, I didn't even know it had an internal battery.  I have a pile of breaker F107's, or rather, of my five F107's none of them work.

david - 2012-03-24 01:48

Since it's basically an Sony WM-F100, the internal battery is like a gumstick battery that is soldered to the circuit board but the design is slightly different.  I hope to at least get the blue one working.  I could probably get the yellow one working too but without the volume control, what's the point.

ao - 2012-03-24 02:27

I suspect this is why none of mine work

deliverance - 2012-03-24 03:44

not a walkman fan but your collection david is stunning best i have seen

respectfully great collection

johnedward - 2012-07-18 21:06

David, you have achieved a most excellent and varied collection.   The breadth of mfg. and models shows your dedication and knowledge. You also have learned a great deal and now can repair most of them thus your goal of all working I hope you achieve. Certainly the Aiwa portion of your collection truly shows your dedication and probably best in this manufacture's line of Walkman on this forum.  BRAVO and great clear photos and nicely detailed topic.  I hope you continue to ad to this topic in our future.

KEEP THE WALKMAN ALIVE.....

david - 2012-07-19 14:46

Thanks John for the compliments and encouragement.  And thank you everyone for the comments.  I'm glad you all could enjoy.

I was thinking of putting some videos together.

david - 2012-07-24 19:29

Just got this one in the mail, the Sony WM-R202.  Replaced the belt and it sounds and plays great, but the Auto Reverse mech isn't working quite right.  I think this completes my Sony WM-100 series collection.  I don't have all of the different colors but I have at least one model of each walkman.  Enjoy.

milosancho - 2012-07-25 14:13

Your walkman collection is amazing, David!

Glad to see there are still people with some real dedication to these beautiful machines.

paul.cusentino - 2012-07-26 10:08

I echo everyone else, you have a stunning collection. I was just wondering if that JVC PC-M100 is still working. That's one of the coolest things I've ever seen.
