AIWA G08, three flavors

walkman.archive - 2012-05-01 12:57

Hi,

I recently completed my set of AIWAs G08, one of my favorite players (that I reviewed in my website). I first got the black one; then, after a long wait, the silver one (very rare) and finally, after a looooong wait, the red one.

And all three are in mint condition (the black one is simply new, never used).

So here you can see all them together:

Aren't they so cool?

As I also have a silver and red P08, I could shot them by pairs. Here's the silver one:

And here, the gorgeus red pair:

And finally, all G08 players together again:

Hope you enjoy them!

As someone else once commented (Agent I think) these are items of audio jewellery. Desirable items of Portable Retro Goodness. Thanks for great pics.

@Hugo

The HS-G08/500 Silver are the most common, Black units are less common and the red ones are very scarce.

However, the Japanese CassetteBoy HS-G8 Silver is the most common all other colors are quite rare in this order:
1. Red 2. Black 3. Pink 4. Blue 5. Tourqize the last two are very scarce.

I am looking for a turquoise one for ages and I saw only one in real life not photo or catalog a real unit but the guy couldn't part from it...

truly the most extraordinary G08 series, and probably the world's unique series. Congrats!

It'd be a nice adition to my G08 review...
