What a great find.  Certainly these items in color especially that unusual era green adds to rarity.  Never seen such a item.  Definitely retro for sure design out of 70's would say.  Seems it is a new mfg. item sold as retro found it available online for $39 but unsure if they really have such a thing although when you click on add to cart it does and shows ready to order.   Very little on net on it which seems unusual.   From the tape transport appearance would say that that item is from mid 80's incorporated into the older style analog clock ( great touch) and non stereo radio single speaker design typical of early 70's.  Thanks for adding great pictures and topic.  Welcome to the forum.

Curiously I saw it too, today! The price written on box (on the one I have) it's the double! Strange it's still available, if it has already more than 20 years!

That Sony CFT-1 is probably the closest I've seen to a walkman/(mono)boomer hybrid.

Parts of both in pretty equal measure...
