Philips Moving Sound D8080 (white)

Got this baby at my local Dutch auction.

Cleaned it up, it works like a charm. Need to disassemble to clean it more thorough.


Lol picked it up at a trainstation this morning, seller happens to work in the same city.

My co-workers were having a big laugh after I carried it to the office.

Showed them the beer compartment.... Walkman fridge!! aaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!

Quite easy to disassemle, panels can be pulled out,

9 screws around the edge to get the front assembly out but it wasn't necessary though I have better acces to the dirt,

Maybe considering to make custom transparent panels and

full transparent cassette door (for them reel2reel cassettes ).

Haha finally someone bought it! It looks cool with no speaker grills!
