close to a dozen different units is their entire offering. I am still looking for the last three! some units are available in several different colors.

Thank you! That red one actually came from Huntington beach California. It was the second JVC I got and is mint perfect!  FYI there are 2 silver CQ-1K pictured but one has a universal FM tunee pack inside!

Dean you have really grown your collection.  Impressive number of JVC players and some rare ones at that.  The smaller new model ones are among the most difficult to work on/repair of all walkman.  The CQ-1K the first of the JVC's is  great model.  I do not believe it came with a FM tuner pack but its fun to use a universal one that has a head up against player head to transfer sound.  I have a SoundDesign one  My fav of all these is the earliest CQ-F2 with the tuner pack so hard to find the orig. tuner pack for this one.  The feel of this Walkman is so solid and love the mix of textures of Chrome, brushed chrome and satin rough textured metal that feels so good on the hands.  You definitely want to keep an eye out for one of the F2's with tuner pack as I know you specialize part of your collection on FM tuner pack Walkman like I do.   Great to see a Walkman post ;-)

Now thats some serious tuner pack collected... should line up and give the forum the model number walkman it goes with and model number of the tuner pack and brand for great reference to members.   The tuner packs are so hard to come by and most members do not know what model tuner pack should go with a specific player.
