Wow! I'm speachless. Three different versions of the box! Congrats!

I have two, but not with box. Prices for boxed units went ridicously high...

Kohinoor Diamond is the said to be the most expensive diamond in this world (Now adorning British Queen's Crown). This one seems to be more adorable than the Kohinoor.

Your photography has made it even more special.

MARVELOUS.

Nearly prohibitve price! Exorbitant!  The Japanese version, I bought it on Yahoo for 101000 Yen.

Truly a outstanding collecting accomplishment my friend.  And your photography skills and creativeness have grown much since you joined.   I truly never knew of the 3 different boxes and models from diff. markets for this very accomplished model.

Do all of them work properly and what do you think of the sound quality compared to say the DD9 or DC2?   Without using the active EQ since DC2 not have and DD9 is limited so that comparison is fair.  Course and use a Sony SEQ50 with the two Sony models and then use the AIWA's and compare that way too... obviously using same headphones so comparison is fair just on the players abilities.

In my opinion, John, as I have a working PX1000, DC2 and DD9, the SONYs are ahead the aiwa. I don't know if the advantage comes only because of the headphone amplifier or is the whole thing, but the PX1000 doesn't sound as good as it looks. At least my unit, fully serviced. To my sounds like a JX707, that is worse than, say, a PX101/303 or 505...
