URGENT Announcement-Discussions about auctions

tpr - 2008-05-28 23:08

Discussions about auctions are often running out of control on this board.

Now I`ll tell you something ;

1.)this board is PUBLIC !!!

2.)everyone is able to read YOUR COMMENT !
THINK BEFORE POSTING !

3.)if you want to tell someone about an auction,
add him to your buddies and tell him.

4.)your first choice about an auction should be:
please keep quiet,if you want it,do not push the price up yourself.Discuss in the BACKGROUND.
Nearly EVERY boombox seller is able to read your comments !

5.)again:do not post all your thoughts in the public!Personal messages are a great instrument to have a great communication -but in the background!

6.)do not hurt other members and do not post suspections about other members behavior in auctions.

I Agree

Although I did enjoy the M90 battle, both sides threw down Nod Yes

Thanks Jens. I always thought, especially with grails, that we enthusiasts become a "tool" for the seller, who lights a small fire and sits back to watch it flame out of control, while members fight over box details and legitimacy of opinions. All the while, the price gets inflated, at times, beyond common sense. At the least, let's not work against each other. Good call.

I deserve thirty whips, but on a serious note I tend to agree with Jens.

well i agree with jens as well,i cant see why anybody would bid at all the first day or two of an auction( i learned the hard way)..But i have seen some radios get 10,15,20 bids in little time and it makes me wonder are these bidders serious or are they in cahoots with the seller,it is possible you know.I believe we should all IM each other or trade/sell amongst one another first because Ebay is becoming crazy...I speak from experience,there is only one way to learn ..But guys we need to look out for each other first...Be well,from Brooklyn,NY,The Birthplace of Boomboxes....
