It is unique in that someone has modified it to allow for variable tape speed as well.

I have seen a couple like this....im not sure it's a mod

Perhaps someone bought a job lot of DP200 from JVC and modified them to sell specifically to dance/fitness instructors with that in mind?

It does look like a semi professional mod.

mmmm that's more like it.....i have a panasonic ct990 done in a similar way...and have seen more the same....when 99 percent of them don't have this feature

my dp 200 doesnt have that - wish it did ..

mod or factory --thats cool

even the 200 the seller is showing in their you-tube

doesnt have it !!
