has line-in ONLY FOR RECORDING - you cannot use this for a play through amplifier for your external music device, as there is NO selector for line-in.

So if you still play your cassette's and listen to the radio, then it's good for that

It's just not a big box, don't confuse this with it's big brother, very different boxes.

That said, I'd say this one is bang on the money.
