I got these in the days and still have them... I Googled it to see if I could find any info (did not push it to hard), and did not find a thing!

The simple question is, "Were these the first mini headphones ever made?" (it is the sales person back than that told me that)

So, were they?

I have a pair of Aiwa HP-01 earbuds that look just like those.
They go with my Aiwa HS-PO5 walkman.
