Hello

I want to give myself a present by ordering a
koss portarpro headphone, but I want to do it via
ebay because the only store near here wants €80,-
for it , and on the ebay they do cost around €30,-!

Does anybody did order one on the ebay before?
and which seller should you recomend?

Nicolle, if you're looking for small, portable headphones, I HIGHLY recommend the Sennheiser PX-100. I had looked at several different models from Grado, Koss, Sony, and Sennheiser. I was all set to buy the Koss Porta-Pro and found an article on http://www.headphone.com/ which talked about the Sennheisers. I'm glad I took their advice.

not look as nice and eighties as the portapro to be honest

I am wanting a portapro for over a year now and
at the moment I can afford one, so I think I
still want a portapro

the porta pro is the best bass headphone ever.

The price in the 80´s was 180DM !!!

For 25 euros today very very good!!!

i use him with my DD100 od DD9 but the best sound is with the DDII.

DD100 to mutch bass, DD9 not loud enough.

wow, walkgirl very nice...one good thing about koss is that they offer a lifetime warranty on their products...it is why i buy many types headphones from them plus love the sound...i've owned a pair of porta-pros for years since late 80s...and every time they got damaged or ear pads wear out they were replaced free, i gotten brand new sets from them many times...you send the damaged one or ear pads if need be..all they ask is you pay a small fee for postage & handling...enjoy

the absolutly best walkman headphones in the word is the:

Koss Porta Pro

and the

Sony MDR 51

I'll agree with the Porta-Pro love. They're amazing headphones, I used to work the hell out of mine on an old MD walkman. Unfortunately they eventually broke and sending them to the u.s to honour the lifetime warranty wasn't really an option.

I replaced them with the the Sennheiser PX-100's a few years ago and they've been of excellent quality, real workhorses. The bass response isn't as awesome as the Porta-Pro's but they still have an incredibly dynamic sound.

And yeah, the 80s styling of the Porta Pro's give them the visual edge over every other headphone on the market. They just need orange or light blue foam replacements.

Do you know where to get those orange or blue foams?, because I could use some!!

talking about color foams...i believe Koss made another porta-pro one time called the porta-pro junior not sure if it had a different color foam on it or was it the frame..but i think they may have discontinued that model...but they do have another model the sporta-pros which are almost the same as the portas-pros but all in black and you could flip the head band back so it can go around the back of your head..which i currently own as well...

I did look the portapro junior up!, there is
a picture on amazon, they look the smae to me and
the foams are black.

oh, ok... i think it looks best with black anyway..

I was just wishing for orange and blue foams, I don't think they exist in Porta Pro size... sorry for getting your hopes up.
