ATTN: Troublesome eBay buyer(s) of Walkman

silencio2 - 2013-05-20 13:15

Hi everyone,

Maybe I shouldn't post this here but I want as many people as possible to see this.

Now it has been 3rd time on eBay in last 2-3 months that a buyer bought my Walkman and didn't pay: twice for my mint (same!) WM-DD9 and today again for my WM-701T. So he f+++ed up three of my auctions and a few weeks of time.

Here's some data about all three (or, it seems, one) buyer (ebay name, feedback, name):

++++++++++++++++++++++

1:

medellinsecret ( Feedback Score Of 0 )

edgar h. b.

++++++++++++++++++++++

2:
edgarlatium ( Feedback Score Of 15 )

edgar b

++++++++++++++++++++++++

3.
cordoba.1980 ( Feedback Score Of 3 )

edgar b

The guy seems to be Dutch.

This must be a real nutcase, and he seems to be after more expensive Walkman (he didn't 'touch' a few cheaper I sold recently).

I really don't know why would someone do this. It must excite him? He wants Mama?

Any similar experiences with the guy? Do you know who might this be?

Thanx!

just typical of the dutch

michiel - 2013-05-20 13:44

Adress is the same... Den Haag = 's-Gravenhage... it's the same... This guy (same name) also likes Sony Yppies, he outbid me several times on a local auction site..

No, it's not typical Dutch..

No, it's not typical Dutch..

Typical or not, I just know we should get rid of him. What should we do - eBay report? Home visit?

michiel - 2013-05-20 13:55

Btw is it wise to throw his full adres on a public forum?

silencio2 - 2013-05-20 14:11

You're probably right Michiel, although he's a fraudulent person...

So, edited.

You didn't think about adding him to your block list?

silencio2 - 2013-05-20 15:13

Of course I did, but in my next auction he appeared again, with different username. In my case, until now, three. Who knows how many accounts he created or will create. I really wonder what's about his sick intentions... Maybe he's afraid of Cassette Walkman Curse?

wellwellwell, I made similar experiances with an italian guy - my solution ? I stopped offering any Walkman on ebay.

sad - but it helped...

Perhaps we should create a Crumby Buyers list sticky post so we can copy/ paste these cretins to our Ebay Blocked sellers list. We already have a Crumby Sellers sticky

It would just be nice to corral all of our blocked fiends in one post for all to know

I think the best thing to do is check the identity of bidders on your items and see if any are the same guy and block his bids.

minty - 2013-05-22 15:48

I think this guy is at it again guys. User name medellinsecret. 0 feedback and Dutch. Placed large bids on two of my items. He's ruining my auctions, and making genuine bidders think my auctions are not legit. What's the deal with this guy?

A disgruntled former member maybe.....who's no doubt reading these posts??

Human mind is such a mess... What are this ga- guy's intentions, really?

Hey, wait... Maybe in his previous life he was a defective WM-DD9 or 701 ?! ;P

michiel - 2013-05-23 09:02

Please let me know if he becomes active again...
