am  glad you added about the headphones  as the Walkman isn't any good without a really good pair of headphones!

I haven't really listened to the Boodo Khan w/good headphones as I don't really listen to a Walkman so much anymore as I listen to my boombox's most all of the time.

After I do some more research on headphone's and get a good pair - then I'll  let you know my impression of it.  the Boodo Khan has .2mw per channel output power this I do know.  That's all for now.

There are two for sale at the moment. One in Rijswijk and one in Amsterdam... Asking myself if it's worth bidding... Got two perfect dd9's and I really dislike the click, clack......click, clack,..noise of my dd33....

Sorry mod, I have accidentally posted it in the wrong thread... it is a non ebay auction.

Ha, it's OK, wasn't sure where to post it myself, figured Marketplaats is an auction so it's best here.

Went to one to of the sellers yesterday to check it out. Sound of the dd100 with the bass button on was impressive. Sounded more spacious (or how it's called) than the dd9 with mega bass on. But I wasn't impressed enough to justify a higher bid than the seller already got...

I don't use mega bass on any cassette Walkman as I use quality headphone's that do not require additional muddiness to the bass

Somehow the DOL system adapts the bass very well in almost any kind of situation where the DD9 sometimes tend to overpowered it.

Agree with that. It only works for cheaper earbuds or headphones. I never go beyond setting "mid".

Do you know what the difference is between MEGA BASS and EX DBB? I actually like the EX DBB on max with the ex808. Sounds much like the DOL setting on the dd100.

Especially setting it to max tends to become very annoying for my ears after a couple of minutes, even with the cheapest mdr earbuds... Got exately the same with the mega bass on the dd33.
