Newbie from South Wales Spotted someone throwin some old and damaged stereos and computers in a skip at work. Had a quick peek and found a Hitachi TRK8600E There are a few marks on it, a small crack in the tape deck, the aerial is missing and the left record volume knob is missing. The volume switch is tempremental but other than that it's in good working order

Anyone know where i can get the parts needed from??

howdy taffy,thats a good find,the 8600 is quite a rare box mate,i dont think you will easily find parts for it..i recently sold mine,and all the other ones i've seen are usually in good shape..
welcome though man..a friend of mine goes to carmarthen every few weeks,4 hour trip though,down A roads..but wales is a nice place,i'm in manchester and its a dump..
