I've went this morning to the 'Mercat dels Encants' in Barcelona, a well known flea market, to see if I can find something interesting.
This flea market was built a few years ago and, as you can guess with almost everything here in barcelona, it's done with a ver careful design. Even this flea market, yes. the ceiling is like a broken mirror, very cool.

    This is the entrance:

This is the main space where most of the material is shown:

Barely the 3rd place where I stopped I found this box full of cassettes:

    And here it is:

I picked up those UX and a few more...

Another place (how do you call those 'booths'?) with so many vinyls:

And another one with cassettes in the ground. Is that common where you live to find them thrown in the ground?

There are also a few stores, one of them of vintage audio:

That is a great place, Hugo.

I had picked up a couple of pieces, recently - one two days ago at the Salvation Army in Vancouver and the other item, yesterday, at my local thrift store Pearl's.

    Details later.

    Nando.

Really? minus7 ºC in Barcelona? That is REALLY rare. In the last 30 yrs I've been living here, I think less than 5 times I've been such freeze, it should have been one of those days, but believe me that is really rare here.
Mediterranean clima is very warm and pleasant, not very hot nor cold...

I was in Barcelona once, travelled the alleys, beaches and backways. The temperature was a warm 85F, the vino tinto was warm and the girls were ice cold. We made our mark and vowed we'd be back soon....

Those little Sansui's go for silly money over here, I could probably pay for my trip at the right price.

Last photo above the AKAI (what ever that is?) on the left. It looks like a Sansui 2000 or maybe a Harmon Kardon. If it is a 2000, those are great little recievers and highly collectable.

I think your right Elite-ist, I'll have to look out back, I have both but didn't realize they were so similar looking. I'd take the HK as well but the Sansui's seem to go for more dough.

Great stuff, fun fact I was there basically almost the exact same time in 2023 and I somehow never even thought to check the city for Walkmans.
