I'll dig into the 3m tape connection, here's what Google Says:

3M was a huge player in the magnetic media world, I'd guess different branding for different markets.

And, only for fun, here`s the complete Miniature Cassette Collection, published by the TDK Museum in Nikaho, Japan. I like the details...

Every little cassette can be taken out the case.

@Black Fingers Nice Edition, i see that first time. Do you know, that there is a second version of DJ 2 in this edition from 97/98? I have the 90-minutes-cassettes :
    DJ 2 98 v JAP (1).jpg DJ 2 98 v JAP (3).jpg
    DJ-2 97 EU (1).jpg DJ-2 97 EU (3).jpg

The Appleanne-Series by my meaning only is published in one catalogue
buch1.jpg I still looking for that book for a good price...

What Dela you`ve got ? There are three colors - blue, green and red, and all were produced with 46 and 54 minutes.

hmmm think i saw that book on Buyee at some point, its just a catalog right?

I found one, 1986 catalog with Hello Kitty etc.....starting at 23 euro, buy out 28 euro.
    https://buyee.jp/item/jdirectitems/auction/e1228375855

And i don't know if another 3 pack of DJ2 in 90 minutes exists...this was also my 1st time i saw this promo pack and price was right so, click.

I've got a green Dela 54 with clear background.

btw have you ever see these The Vaudeville Duo tapes? I know there aren't TDK, could be Denon or Maxell?

Yesterday scored a TDK Hello Kitty 46 and an TDK Apple Anne 46 in pink...both unfortunatly are missing their J-cards but cassettes themselfs are unwritten and tabs intact.

Yes, that`s the catalogue, i `ve meant. I only know the 2 Vaudeville Duo - Cassettes from TDK. Sanrio not only made deals with TDK, i`ve also seen Sanrio characters on other cassette brands, like Axia . I just be visiting this lot https://zenmarket.jp/de/auction.aspx?itemCode=e1202148918&q=TDK+Fancy+Cassette&p=1&pos=83, waiting for lower price, because i only need 2 cassettes from this, and they all also are without inlay cards. Unfortunally at buyee or zenmarket there`s no option to contact the sellers...
And mostly such Promo-Packs like DJ are published in one version.

Yes looks like Sanrio even made cassettes themselfs in mid 80's and also made seperate J-card sets. And they have remade some 80's stuff also in the 90's...
Some of that artwork is magnificent, look at this Han-gyo Don (half-fish-man) from 1985 i got...i know it ain't a Denon but who cares...the little octopus is Sayuri, best mates with Hangyodon. Do you know that cassette? Never seen these kind of sunflower hubs before..

But that set on Zenmarket isn't priced that high, has two Femme Fatale...but yeah shame no J-cards but thos can be reproduced if there is a good image of them.
But i've seen that seller on Buyee too but through Buyee i couldnt bid on his items, looks like Zen can? But i have seen these been on sale for a while now...which two do you want from that set?

Ah i misunderstood, yes i know that there are two versions, believe one was for EU market, only DJ2 that was released in EU i believe....

btw added my collection to 45cat but you're not allowed to add new tapes to the database and i have plenty that aren't in his database..oh well....
