My first? Hmm...Panasonic shoebox taperecorder, a Panasonic cassette player (don't remember the model, but it was a walkman type, used 4 AA batteries and had a shoulder strap) and a Sanyo double cassette boombox that I ran until it fell apart. lol

Part vinyl, part cassette. Lots of good stuff out on tape anymore. I've discovered so many good bands recently putting out cool tapes! I have a red Sony WM-DD30 that I enjoy listening to a lot!
