Haha, yes four items would make a nice wall. Oh, both cats are beautiful. The fawn coloured is Baloo (he) and the white coloured is Heather (she), both British short hair. I made the gear myself with my resin printer. Unfortunately it is not so soft and makes some noise when spinning forward/backward but in general it is working great. Need to do some experiments with flexible resins. Anyway, I got a "Patient" from the Netherlands, an owner of a non working CD555 who would the website and now I try to repair his machine. Not going to create videos because it is basically the same as before but I document everything on the website (LINK)
I've got a new project from someone who shot a cheap CD555 at a second hand shop. That makes no. 7 There are a lot of buttons and brackets broken and of course nothing is working. But in overall the panels are in a good shape. It got repaired heavily and screws and brackets are missing. Contains some "creative" solutions. Holy schmoly you went DEEP on this box! I just bought one that was 'broken in transport and does not turn on' that at least from the outside looks complete and in good condition. I haven't received it yet, will be a few days. Buuut having skimmed through your posts and website, I now fear for what is to come! A lot of it is definitely above my pay grade (none, a self taught hobbyist). But what I lack in knowledge, I make up through perseverance and analytical skills typically. I haven't gone down to the level of replacing a CPU and its firmware in a boombox though. Very curious what I will receive though, from how it was described, it might have part of the power circuit bouncing around its insides while it's in transport across countries to me, which I'm sure will add to the already long looking list of fun..
