Looking for a diskman that plays mp3 cds

    I have noticed that a lot of audio books can be purchased for cheap on ebay but they are on mp3 cds. Can these be played on most diskman cd players? If not, what portable cd players do play these disks?

    Look for an "MP3" type logo, this one is currently on ebay and you can find them, for now, cheap. For a brief few years around 2003 a lot of players had this option but once ipods took off I think the sales died on these. You can also play them on a laptop or desktop computer with a CD drive and a program like Foobar2000 (free). If you need to travel, you can upload the files from the CD and download to your phone. When I do my 10 hour road trips I get on archive.org and download books and old TV broadcasts to my phone and listen while driving.

    There's other websites out there, one has all the old Twilight Zone Episodes and they are very listenable plus they go kind of fast. Other sites might have old TV shows, audio only, that are fun to listen to.
