Have spent an inordinate amount of time looking at Sony Walkman's on Ebay & Etsy. Are there any Recommended Sellers that I could follow for a Rebuilt Sony Walkman in nice shape? I am looking for a Christmas gift for my Wife who desires to play back her Educational Cassette Tapes. Looking at the Fiio CP 13 also, but I am very hesitant since a number of folks have stated the Vintage Sony's are better sounding. I do not mind paying the monies if the Unit is in nice shape but it is a minefield out there. I have been very far removed from Cassette playback so any advice would be appreciated.
If your wife only needs to play her educational cassettes then the Fiio will be perfect, it’s new and has a warrantee. I would go for that.
Yea, it's very hit or miss with vintage. The other issue is now a basic model from 1990, with a new belt, goes for decent money, a better model can go for lots of money and your still never sure how long it will work. VWestlife on YouTube has some good videos, he just reviewed the new Toshiba and Maxell Models. He's been showing up on here doing some research, welcome to the site VW! https://www.youtube.com/VWestlife
I you do want to buy second hand, I have said before that something being sold locally, which you can try before you buy, might be a better option than distance buying of a used one.

There is a seller in England who has listed tons of walkmans over the past couple years that he/she fixes and they seem to get really good reviews and the prices seem very decent. https://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/fieldfare4
