Tell me your experience with the Fiio dm15 CD player? I want to know about it because I'm asking for it for my birthday. Never mind, my parents pulled a fast one on me and, got me a different CD player for Christmas. Not complaining since it also has Bluetooth and lossless audio with gapless playback. Although, the build quality leaves a lot to be desired, but my parents are bent on not buying the Fiio dm15 CD player for me so oh well. I guess I'll buy it myself eventually.

I hadn't seen the clear cover model yet, they aren't bad looking.

Mister X I already edited this post to mention that my parents pulled a fast one on me, and got me a different portable CD player for Christmas. There ain't no chance I'll be getting the Fiio dm15 unless I buy it myself, and right now saving for a optical drive is more important to me because of disc rot. Lots of my DVDs, Blu-rays and even CDs have signs of disc rot.

Every once in awhile I get CheapAudioMan YT Videos, along with some others, with the latest and greatest small CD player. I do like the square bodies and some are more exciting than the last generation plastic-fantastic models. Did Fiio have two portables?

I read the whathifi Review from last year, the author wishes it was more like the 90's versions, more round! uggg........

My only real reservation about this niche retro-inspired portable is how it looks, which is functional over fun – modern, minimalist, sleek and… square? Forget the fugly former players of the ’80s and ’90s, like the Sony D-Z555 and Technics SL-XP5, Discmans today should be round! Like they were in the noughties. While the player can be bought in a funky red finish, I still think FiiO should’ve had more fun with retro visual cues here. Then again, perhaps all the team’s creativity had gone into making the CP13 cassette player…

Mister X The size of the Fiio dm15 wasn't a issue with me because I was going to mainly use it as a car CD player since it has a lossless Bluetooth output. I also don't think it's too big for me to carry if I needed to. As well as this, I quite like it's appearance. I was wondering if it's good as far as functionality goes, and not size.
