It doesn't have to be a Sony, but it has to have Dolby B noise reduction and be in very good condition so I can easily restore it. I'm willing to pay 100 dollars at most. Nevermind, I decided to save for something else at the moment, and my parents might have to buy another portable CD player because my portable CD player crapped out and failed. I'm getting a replacement, but I'm afraid my replacement might fail too, and if it does. I'll have to ask for a higher quality unit from another brand that costs more.
$100 and with Dolby-B is a bit on the cheap side. I don't really know of any models that would be worth maintaining at such a price. You could for sure find something using a proxy from eg. Japan and waiting to snipe something with a bid. Maybe something like a Sharp JC-K110 that still comes with a remote (even though it doesn't need). However, you probably won't find anyone willing to sell something for so little out of their collection. Most people don't get out of bed for that kind of money.
