    @Silver965 thanks for the info!! I see XL-R10K, one of the most unobtanium Discmans ever made. It is 'just' a re-badged Technics SL-XP5 but with a different battery pack. Looks pretty dramatic, once I fix mine I will let you know how it sounds. Myguess - no different from Technics ;)

    thanks ... i can assure that sl-xp5 feels really good despite the age ... i have to restore the battery but .. as soon as i have a moment of time ... i have never tried this jvc
