Radio's, Microphones and Cassette recorders featuring at Battlestar Galactica

I'm a huge fan of the Battlestar Galactica re-imagined series.

Throughout the series the use of tape players, radio's and microphones are used for communication, sending -hidden- messages, music and so on. They play a crucial role throughout the whole series showing how important it is in effect for politics, religion and military purposes.

I will try to gather more information, but i can't imagine i am the only one that noticed their use of analog tech! And loved it!!
Any help is welcome!

1. Wich cassette-player is Kara Thrace using to listen to Philip Glass' supurb Metamorphosis One?
2, Wich tape player is president Roslin using when she says: "How the frack works this thing? "
3. Wich radio is playing the first tunes making coronel Tigh crazy, leading to Bear McCreary's interpretation of Jimmy Hendrix' epic song Along the Watchtower?
