These are great, thanks retro!  Definitely one of the more exotic walkmans with its dbx NR for sure.  I had no idea there was an optional tuner module!

 

Growing up, I always assumed TEAC was just smaller part of Panasonic.  Only recently did I learn that it is an independent company and that Tascam is one of their brands.

That is FANTASTIC you have the brochure I have not seen ever.  I have a mint PC-7RX but sadly missing the FM module.   It is interesting that several models share the chassis/body with this model.  Unsure who is the actual mfg.  is.

  Here is Link to a topic I posted some time ago with plenty of great pictures including the other like models although the TEAC IS THE ONLY dbx equipt one. TO experience this player with dbx you must have a dbx encoder hooked before a home deck to compress sound. Then the PC-7RX can decode and play correctly.  dbx encoded tape sound flat and awful without the proper decodeing expanding circuit.
