Another Boombox Movie Sighting! Panasonic RX C52 and Promax Super Jumbo J-1

    Ive seen this movie before I was a Boombox collector and paid no attention to this, but now I noticed right away the stack of Boomboxes behind Kurt Russel, in the movie Breakdown where his wife is kidnapped by a bunch of sick rednecks. I can only recognize the Panasonic RX C52 and the Promax Super Jumbo J-1. image.jpg

    I love my RX C52's! Yeah the Super Jumbo' tweeter is barely peeking out on the upper left!

    There was a turntable version either on ebay UK or Greece for a long time last spring, it might still be available but I think it only had one tape deck.

    As it happens there is one now for sale on Ebay from Germany. Not cheap but the postage costs is very expensive but it is I understand a heavy beast.It comes with the record player but sadly that is not working .
