The price is good for a repaired/serviced DD-100 with original headphone

I tried to use google translate and couldn't understand this sentence:
    "demontage Lasche abgegangen."

    Google translate as :
Furthermore, the battery disassembly lug has gone off :iconconfused:

does it mean the battery compartment is corroded?

Here is the translation I obtained

    Collection resolution.
Offered is a Sony Walkman DD-100 Boodo Khan + headphones DR-S100 Boodo Khan + headphones MDR-P1.

The player is in very good condition, except for the protective cover (see pictures).

The player works perfectly, but there are running noise.

Furthermore, the battery disassembly tab has gone off. The battery compartment is clean

The sound is clean, forward, and reverse spooling works.

    The substance is very good.

Without power supply and additional accessories.

    Headphones:

The DR-S100 Boodo Khan works perfectly, however the ear pads should be renewed, since these dissolve, the Klinkadapter from 3.5mm to 6.3mm is thereby.State well

The MDR-P1 works perfectly, without a jack adapter ...... 3.5mm connector. The ear pads are in good condition, maybe you can convert these to the Boodo Khan?

You will note it says "the battery disassembly Tage Has gone OFFG ( presumably means Broken ) if you want more precise translation I can try my brother in law who lived in Germany for many years and is pretty fluent as le used to lecture in german in those days

I have just translated the `postage details and this is what it says
Möglicherweise kein Versand nach Großbritannien - Lesen Sie die Artikelbeschreibung oder kontaktieren Sie den Verkäufer, um Informationen zu Versandoptionen zu erhalten. | Weitere Details
    which means
You may not be able to ship to the UK - Read the item description or contact the seller for shipping information.

If you are interested better check if he will post to UK if it affects you.

I have the Boo Do Khan and and looking for the headphones but until now no success !!

I believe the seller means the little clip on the battery cover is broken so it doesn't click in. That's what I think anyway. They're the same as WM 2's so if you can find a cheap WM 2 then you're golden. Price is up there for me so I won't even bother asking for a shipping price to Australia. I just missed out on a DD 100 in Japan. It sold for $380 USD and I'm sad :(

as far as i know almost all DD series share the same battery door (also WM-5 and WM-2), but i am not sure the problem wit this specific auction is related to battery cover. So I wont buy this one. When i comes to DD-100 i will only buy the one with all accessories including the original box in mint condition.

I dont know why DD100 is selling so good that nowadays is difficult to find a decent one.

I appreciate that it does not sound the best but how would you post a video to show off an item to its best ?

Gosh, I suspect that Youtube video is from our beloved and passed away member, John Lydle. His setup looks very close to the one he had. And he also had a Boodo boxed, new for sale...

so to bring some light into the darkness about that DD-100 on ebay germany:

    - used condition as seen on pics
    - battery-lid is defect (my comment:could be replaced with one from any other DD)
    - plays but makes mechanical noises (wich means the usual cracked centre-gear, but fixable)
    - leatherette is baggered
    - headphones are ok but cushins are disolving
    - comes with some extra-hp's (...f.m.o. worthless)
    - no box

if they're start to go for that kinda money i might offer mine soon ;-)

I also recognize the DD100 set again. I sold it to him at that time.
I think he was very proud of this walkman.

Of course, it's auctioning. Luck making money.
It's normal I can not afford it.
Well it was missing that I do not have this Walkman WM-DD-100 Boodo Khan :ohmy
