Was listening to the Sony the other day when the sound suddenly became all distorted before disappearing completely........ A quick dive into the works with freezer spray & a hairdryer around the pre-amp restored the sound albeit with distortion & rasping sounds Ordered 2 replacements which took ages to arrive!! Finally came the time to replace these 2 offenders - On removal lots of leakage & crud underneath them, so board cleaned with iso alcohol cleaner before soldering in new caps Huge relief to find all is well again - Love using this one, it is absolute quality! Et Viola
