You only need two things in life: Duct Tape and WD-40. If it moves and shouldn’t, use Duct Tape, if it doesn’t move and should, use WD-40.
Looking to find an idea of value for an original Marantz boombox set minus power supply unfortunately - incl aerial, walkman & stereo mic
Hi. Need help on fast playing d6. It was working well a few days ago but has now sped up. Happy to send by post
Buon giorno Vorrei sapere se Lei potrebbe riparare il mio Sony WM DC2. Il Walkman non presenta nessun audio e ha bisogno anche del cambiamento dell’ingranaggio centrale e del pneumatico del capstan. Grazie
If I had a WM-D6C that I needed repaired Deb64 is who I would send it to in the UK. I have many here but they are repairs I need to get to - I am in Chicago but now looking for more work. Leonardo is in Italy. Some of the Walkman Technician I knew at Sony are already gone. Sony when I was there in Niles threw all the new parts away- they probably did it all over before closing down.
Hi Mister X, Sam here from Chicago. I have a box of various walkmans I am offering them for free or the actual shipping cost just so they go somewhere so the parts or cosmetics are used. This is not the same as selling them- If a guy wants to come over to my place I will give the box for free. Does this break any rules do you think?
No problem, we have a 2nd hand thread at the bottom for this stuff. You can sell if you like, just do so at your own risk. Just like any forum, a scammer might be lurking around.
I've seen people recommend you several times and was wondering if you could offer me any advice with my Sony WM-FX43...I changed the belt (to the one specifically recommended), cleaned the pinch rollers and capstans, and tried messing with the trimpot that controls motor speed, but all of my tapes still sound like Alvin and the Chipmunks. Any advice? I'd be willing to solder and I do own a multimeter. THANKS!
Hi there! My name is Richard and I’m new to the forum! I hope to share my love for all things vintage in the audio world.
Hi, do you still do repairs? I have working WM-DD9 and WM-D6C that could use some maintenance to keep them healthy for years to come.
Hello. If you have any interest in selling your Yamaha YSU-3, that very much like to have some dialogue with you.
