The only thing missing from that ad is Ernst Stavro Blofeld's Cat :) Those stairs and wall give it such a wonderful 60s vibe. This machine is actually the opposite of a boombox. A boombox should scream for attention even when it's not on, but this machine is the complete opposite. It's truly remarkable how many unique machines Crown has ever created.

I'm slowly collecting the briefcase models, I need to do some wash and waxing before photographs. I feel like they really grasped the 60's spy era and came out with these cool designs. The briefcases are very nice, slim designs, some have an antenna knob that really makes you wonder what's inside.

Did this get posted already? From 1972, the three girls are a music group called, that's right, you guessed it, "School Mates." They must be tiny, I have the middle boomer and it's pretty small but she makes it look huge.

Wow, 1962, spinning some vinyl in the mountains. An early four-color ad that must have been big money back then not to mention the cost of this beauty. I've got a very similar AIWA I have to pull out one of these days along with one of my roached out Beach Boys Album.
