Thanks Oswaldo, nice to see you popping in. I've had that aiwa in my main rack for years, I just built a monster rack and hopefully I'll get more playing time with it before it gets rotated out. AIWA Decks have really hit the radar, the good ones used to be tough to find locally.

    Thanks @Mister X!

To be honest, in my later years I’ve come to accept that Aiwa tape decks are real sleepers and tremendous bang for the buck. I am happy to have one in my arsenal (Two actually. I own two AD-F660s)

    Cheers!

I've always searched out for them, when I was a kid in the 80's, my slightly older neighbor came back from college and couldn't praise AIWA Tape Decks enough. He was one of the top-two smartest people I've known and went on to an electronics career with dozens of patents. They really went deep into tape machines and probably only matched Sony with the huge range of players you could buy, which is facinating itself cuz Sony was a huge shareholder and eventually took over them over.

I had to look up the Atlantic 75 Series, pretty cool, 45 RPM on two albums. Makes me want to find my Bad Company Albums and maybe some Genesis, throw in 90125 which is already my goto system checker album.
