Hi there! I'm a Tape Enthusiast from California. I've been collecting for a little over ten years, and have taught myself how to maintain and do basic service on my machines. I am currently dailying a WM-FX822 and a WM-EX511, both of which I picked up for parts and cleaned up, alongside a late model Sony Discman D-EJ925. For recording, I use a TC-WE475 hooked up to a dedicated CD/Vinyl Setup, though I'm looking to upgrade to a Dolby S model with auto calibration. It's great to meet you all!
Welcome to Stereo2go EBIz Enjoy your units, I just like to say Dolby S is not necessary in fact I would say Dolby is not really needed on modern cassette formulations. You already have HX Pro which is good and helps you make good recordings. Besides using Dolby S will give you compatibility issues with your Walkman.
Welcome! One of our old members was really into the Dolby C Models and compiled a lot of information. They weren't able to merge our old forum with this newer one but it was active since 2002 and some parts can be found in the "Old_Forum" button at the top. It comes up as ForumReader when searching on Google. https://www.stereo2go.com/topic/ind...3392314111930101&board_oid=522740502721869426
