Hello, I'm glad that I finally registered. Really like this forum, found tons of useful information related to cassettes and related equipment. Relatively lately this hobby struck me and I started buying/recording/listening to tapes (again) and tinkering with old devices. Was really surprised that metal bands are still releasing music on tapes. So far I have a small collection of Walkmans (WM-DD11, WM-EX552 and others) and Technics RS-AZ6 deck for recording. Looking forward to to being part of community.
Welcome! I used to go to a ton of smaller shows and most bands have vinyl and cassette at the merch booth. It's funny you brought up metal, I'm watching a YT Vid of George Lynch go through his "Scary Gear." He has some killer unique amps he's going through.
