Hi everyone, I got into Walkmans about a year ago when I found my mother's EX23 with a lot of cassettes. Since then I bought a few other Sony and Panasonic players and fixed them up a bit. I joined because right now I'm stuck with both of my DD projects because the same part broke on both of them, the Lever Assembly (X-3578-121-0). I hope someone will have that part laying around.
Welcome to the forum! Sorry I can't help you, I have no DD models and am kicking myself for not getting a few when they were reasonably priced.
Welcome to the forum, @Tamas Gati ! That lever assembly is a known problem on DD walkmans unfortunately. Depending on how bad it is, the existing one may be repiared. Check this guide if you have not already: http://www.walkman-archive.com/articles/sony-dd-repair-guide_07.html If the levers are beyond any kind of repair, I suggest you post a request for the part in the "Gear that you want" section of the forum. Unfortunately both of them broke at the same place at the fixing pins, so they're beyond repair. I'll check out the Gear you want section, but last time I couldn't post because I didn't have enough points. I'm really new to this forum thing to be honest. Thanks a lot though.
I was lucky with one of them, I found the DD2 at a local flea markt for 20 euros. It's crazy how expensive they've become.
