Good Day guys! Cassette enthusiast who owns a Nakamichi DR8 deck for Hifi playback. I am currently helping a friend service 2 of his Walkman Professional D6Cs. One is the early model which runs perfectly after all the belts and idle pulley change. However his late model and has an issue where the speed is crazy fast for first few minute. Hope to get some help on which component is faulty. I read the thread and most issue resolved is not the exact issue as this. Appreciate comment from member who has found the fault to this exact problem. Thanks!
