Hi everybody... Some times ago, I got a non working but nice AIWA HS-J505 from a friend. I found the service manual and some tutos on youtube and was able to fully repair it..... removing old leaked caps, cleaning the board intensivly, repaired traces, change belt etc..... The result is a perfect working HS-J05. I am very happy with it. It's my first walkman restoration... Yesterday my wife brought me a HS-G37 she got for few €.... I tested it, working, very nice sound, but with minors issues that I would like to fix.... I could not find informations about this specific device and decide to register to try to receive help from the experts This is my second walkman and probably not the last one....
