Hello, my name is Casey. I like to explore abandoned buildings and thrift stores to find old media/tech. I do a bit of audio wiring, such as car stereos, and home theater. I have a large collection of forgotten speakers, amps, lamps, paintings, and tapes of various formats.
Welcome to the forum! Growing up I lived a block away from our local "state hospital" a large group of buildings for the serious mentally unstable. We used to explore the heck out of the abandoned 1880's buildings still on the property, they were built to last and were super interesting but also very creepy. While closed for years, I remember one room had medical gurneys and blood all over the walls, freakin crazy when it's midnight and you just have a cheap flashlight.
Hello Casey, welcome to our little world. It sounds like you have a wide range of interests. I have a background in electronics from both high school and college, and I grew up with it as a kid. Very cool, Mr. X—I’m pretty sure I’ve seen videos and read about that place. Around here, we have plenty of old mines and abandoned ghost towns.
