Hi, As the title says, I am looking for a working battery compartment for Sony Walkman WM-101 (silver). Any members have any suggestions where to look? Thanks Steve
This battery compartment is hard to find. Sony used this type of battery compartment in few other walkman units. You shouldn't buy certain walkmans if the unit is not complete/ missing parts since the replacement parts are hard to find. One suggestion is find another walkman (something like this one : https://buyee.jp/item/yahoo/auction/x607578957)and use the battery compartment for both walkmans. As far as i remember this model comes in 4 colors( red, silver, black and blue) and all of them share same black battery compartment.
Yep, starting to realize the errors of may ways! I'm looking also at full units to get the replacement part ... fortunately I got this unit for a decent price (IMO) That link is not working but I think I can work it out, thanks!
