    Hello Dear Felow collectors .
There used to be a thread ( hopefully not lost forever ) on the old site which in my humble opinion
i think it had some valuable info with pics from LP Records that had a boombox on the cover or at the back
of the LP. A few days ago i was browsing the Hip-Hop Section of a Record Store and i saw a couple of LPs
with Boomboxes on the cover . Thought i d share and Revive this old thread .

The First one is from Shock depicting a Sharp GF-85853
and the Second one is From Grandmaster Melle Mel depicting 2 (!!) Pioneer 909s
I will be back on topic later with a third Cover which i dont remember right now and i have to go home as i have somewhere the title written on a note .

I wonder when we're gonna recover the unvaluable information in the Database. I remember this topic in the old site, I even contributed to it. Nice to see my boomboxfella deech digging it :) Great stuff btw!

Can anybody id the boombox featured on the cover??

Tre can i ask you a favour and bring back the Original thread if possible
from the old site witht the original pics and replies plus the original author of this
thread in particular? I am asking because i read that you did save the majority
of the threads from the old site.

I second deech's request of restoring the old thread, it's full of great info. I haven't checked it -- I have no time-- but the box looks like an Aiwa to my eyes. Model number can't remember, and I have one! Memory fades, I grow old... :|

This is a great pic Capstan :)
I love it. I talked with machaneus and i also saw the videoclip of these guys.
There are a few boomboxes there too.

Longman great that you found the old topic ! I reread it and enjoyed it again.
The Chart Hits 83 2lp album was sent to me from member Northerner a few years ago
and you are right about the Sharp VZ-2000 .

Now here is a release from 2013 that belongs in this thread too.

    The Clash Hits Back.

    clash hits.jpg

    A Hitachi TRK-8180 , a Sharp GF-9191 , A Sony CFS-65 and i cant identify the 4th one.
