My journey stared at a little HIFI store in Altrincham UK at age 12 where I plonked down 100 pounds to buy an integrated Marantz amplifier and a Marantz turntable. My uncle provided me with some old Warfdale speakers.

Sad to say I'm currently part of the bluetooth portable speaker crowd but I do still have a NAD 2030? and some Kef speakers attach to an old Plasma TV 2007 that gets minimal use.

So a sad state of affairs for someone who used to go to HIFI shows and dream of Krell mono block amps!

    Cheers

Welcome to the forum, it's never too late to upgrade to a vintage audio system. I love the blending of good music and classic gear and for some reason they both hit their high points around the same time.
