Hi All Stumbled across your fine site and thought I'd join in. First Walkman was Aiwa HS-P05 mkII I believe. Still got it somewhere that thing is bomb proof. Lost the belt clip many moons ago, didn't like it anyway but it annoys me that I don't have it anymore. Upgraded to a Panasonic in 1996 can't seem to find the model but it was slightly slimmer sliverand had a rechargeable battery as well as a bolt on plastic external battery pack that took a spare AA battery if needed. Great in ear headphones on that one that had a remote in the cable. Need to dig that one out again
Welcome Dov989, there's lot's of stuff on this site, also check out the forum reader section of the old forum going back to the mid 2000's. It's amazing how a lot of these old players are still working pretty good considering how many moving small parts are in them.
