    1984, now I believe 13 watts a channel, I have a different model and it's heavy.

1991, I bet the TV/player was big money, too bad there's no pricing.

1986, we used to scan the Sunday Newspapers for electronic ads and find the best pricing. Every once in a while you'd find a nugget like the Toshiba marked down a little more than the others but it's still $117.00 USD in today's dollars, big money for a student.

So mulitply by 3x to get close to today's pricing, can you imagine spending $500 today on the CFS-7000? That's 1/2 the fun of finding good deals on vintage audio.

1983, kind of looks like a WM-R2 to me, bait and switch or are the models switched? I don't have a TCS-350 to confirm.

Sony WM-3 from 1983, these bricks would have been "uncool" compared to the WM-2.

1986, I don't know if they're selling the RC-S40 or the RC-W40, too very different models. I was hoping to compare the two models with the same list price.

1988 A lot of these ads are for the university bookstore, sadly my local store didn't have electronics, I bet this store was packed on sale days.

1990, I never saw JVC Models back then but the name and styling alone were probably a big hit along with decent pricing.

1983 The Sanyo M9901 is a nice midi boombox, the kind you'd bring to the beach.
