7-8 years late, as usual, I can't fail to notice a Sharp GF4343 in the excellent UK TV series Humans https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4122068/ ...mentioned in this post (from 2018, so rather more topical) as the similar GF6464: https://stereo2go.com/forums/threads/upcoming-boomboxes.3256/#post-27000 Screenshots are proving a challenge, but it's in S03 Eo1 at 22:30 (& other times). It's been de-badged, which is a common thing for boomboxes used on TV shows, for some legal reason, I imagine. It's this one, a sensible choice, as endurance on batteries would be important in their use of it:
