I have a NOS Sony WM-22 which emits a high pitched noise when playback is engaged. It does not cover the music and indeed the walkman does sound quite well, but during the silence between songs you can hear that noise on top of tape hiss. I checked all capacitors and they all measure fine. Does anyone know what could be the origin of the noise ? thanks
