It has been in climate-controlled storage for some time and was lightly used before it was stored. It records on 2 track and can playback at both 2 and 4 track. It has both 7 1/2 and 15 ips tape speed capability. Features include a self-adjusting tension guide, 3 motors, 4 heads, and switch selected bias and equalization The recorder was thoroughly serviced this month (September 2020) by Adrian ProAudio Service (see photo of the service sticker). The work done included: Replacement of the capstan belt Replacement of the counter belt Complete cleaning, lubrication, and mechanical alignment Cleaned and demagnetized heads and guides Calibrated per manufacturer specifications This is a very rare example of a reel-to-reel recorder that holds its own against professional machines.
