Hi all. I have been working on this tps l2 for a bit now and just when I think I finally have everything up and running the microphone decided to stop working. It does pick up tapping and if I blow into it but nothing else. I measured the resistance on the wires and on the pads located on the board but those all came back back as 0 ohms. I also cleaned the hot line switch. Anyone know what to try next ? Any replacement parts available for this ?
Ok for anyone who is also facing this problem, if you buy a standard electret microphone it'll work if you connect the ground wire to the original spot of the black wire and the audio output to the original spot for the white wire. I don't know what the exact specs are that you need, both mics I bought are a bit too low on volume so you'll have to play around with that a bit. Not like they are expensive.
