I bought a mint 707 to add to my cobra top collection ,paid a lot to have it imported from Canada,it arrived yesterday,with one end of the case smashed

obiviously been droped by the courier

pluged it in and all I get is a loud hum and none of the buttons ,function at all! nearly all the damage is on the front section of the case,I know it's a shot in the dark,but if any one has a spaire front section that they would consider selling,as it is currently useless.

I,v unscrewed it and removed the front section.it hums all the time that power is on.I managed to play a cd,but just got a bit of faint sound comming out of the tweeters,the woofers just keep buzzing.I do have a DT-75 that I could break to fix it.Are the amps the same?

Hi Jack! I have one that is perfect in every way, but both cassette decks are dead! The CD player works great! It has the original remote too. I paid $100 for it on ebay (from Canada also)...the shipping price killed me! I am willing to sell it for $100 to you if you want it?? Let me know via PM here....Thanks!

Hello,it does sound very tempting,but as you know the price of shipping is huge! it cost me $300 to get this one imported into the uk and only $50 to buy it and then it arrived smashed!
