hi people, ive just found a sony wm 503 with the original hard case but its missing the headphones, ive done a bit of research on which ones go with it and im coming up with the mdr a20 , but they have a different jack, would be very greatfull for any info
They should have the same standard 2.8mm jack. What have you read?
The Sony WM-503 came in 2 versions! One was a cardboard box. This version came with a black vinyl cover and, Sony a MDR-A20 folding headset. Now. The other set is far nicer. This set has a hard plastic container, with a clear lid to see all the contents. The Sony WM-503 came with the Sony MDR-e454 earphones, and a gray bag with drawstrings. Either set has the exact same size stereo mini plug.

clear lid ? are you sure it's not a WM-504 ?
Assuming they mean the clear lid on the display case....
The 503 also shipped with the gen 1 earbuds too.
thats the one AO, i dont have the blue outer sleeve though, but do have the grey pull string bag for the headphones, will post pics sometime
